Lantern festival

Lantern festival is coming soon......But, we played with lanterns last week. The Loo family came too. So did Yi Fen,15 year old Tian Xi and uncle Teck Lee. Chuin Ze came too. We were playing lanterns at the BU 3 park and we had a competition which was held to see who could walk one big round around the park holding a lantern in one hand, and making sure the light will not go out. I and Michelle won in the end. We also played candles. Girlz vs boys. In the end, we couldn't make out who won. The girls lit candles in a big circle on a flat stone. It shone like a birthday cake, from far it was beautiful. Too bad did'nt bring camera though. :( The boyz made a giant fireplace on a flat stone too. They were like......Getting whatever they can get their hands on......Grass, sticks......I was totally mad with them......They burnt my lantern......To win the competition......They even burnt MY candle boxes......Chuin Ze (the naughtiest one) burnt plastic without knowing it could cause poison air......Tian Xi grabbed the plastic the same second and threw it away. The boys even (probably because of jealousy) blew out the girlz candles! In anger, we formed a plan..... I figured out sand could put out fire, so two of us came running back and forth to dig sand and throw them into the boys fireplace. Slowly, but surely, their fire seem to go dim. And then, they add more and more leaves on their fire. So the fire never gets to be put out. In the end, no one won, both probably lost......We're going to the park again to play with the candles this week, hope the girls will win......
